Contact Data Rules

It's important to keep your data clean and accessible.

 

We've created some general rules to help keep your data clean and organized. This is for your benefit so that you can easily find the contact and their information. Please follow these rules and make sure each one of your contacts fulfills the criteria so that we do not run into issues and have to clean it later. 

 

No contact owner for these Types:

  1. Vendor Partners

  2. TPA

  3. Stop Loss Carrier

Required Fields for Contacts:

  1. First Name

  2. Last Name

  3. Email

  4. Job title
  5. Type

  6. City

  7. State

  8. Postal Code

  9. Associated Company

Optional Fields for Contacts (please include if you have the information):

  1. Phone number: direct and/or mobile
  2. Relationship
  3. Lead status

For data cleaning purposes, if you can’t determine which office a contact belongs in, assign them to the HQ so that they are associated with the parent company. Any contact that is missing one of these required fields will be on the Dirty Data Dashboard.
