# In-Line / Quick Editing Contacts

## This article will show you how to quickly and easily change, edit or remove information from a contact.

1. Go to **CRM** > **Contacts**

2. Locate a contact(s) that you want to edit

3. Staying on the same page and without needing to click into the contact, you can choose the field you want to change (job title (shown below), type, phone number, etc.) by clicking on the field directly![](https://info.claim-doc.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Nov-20-2025-07-13-47-0741-PM.png?width=2028&height=332&name=image-png-Nov-20-2025-07-13-47-0741-PM.png)

4. For example: if you want to change the job title for a contact, as seen above, simply click into the box and start typing

5. Once you finish editing whatever you need to, click out of the property and HubSpot will automatically save your edits.
