InMail messages can be a useful tool for connecting with prospects. This article will teach you when/how to use InMail and best practices to follow to increase your open/reply rate.

InMail messages are a tool we have access to via LinkedIn Sales Navigator. They provide a more professional way to reach out to prospects, and prospects often feel more comfortable responding to InMails (vs. an email). 

 

Best Practices for InMail Messages:

  • Start off with a captivating subject line
  • Include a personal greeting
  • Keep any paragraphs short and on-point
  • Personalize each message with relevant stories and attention-grabbing details 
  • Send your InMail messages on weekdays early in the morning to have the best chance for a high open rate
