Making Sure Outlook & Hubspot Are Logging/Tracking Properly

This article will cover how to make sure that you're Outlook email and HubSpot are properly logging and tracking emails.

1. Open Outlook on your laptop or computer.

2. Select any email and navigate to the orange HubSpot sales tool add-on in the upper right

Clicking on an email or thread allows the sales tool to open properly so you can access the settings. 

3. Scroll all the way to the bottom on the right side of the sales tool

4. Select More add-in settings

5. Select Log and Track settings

6. Make sure the two boxes are checked for log email and track email

If they were not selected and highlighted a color, your email was not logging and tracking emails properly, in order to feed into HubSpot. Always make sure these boxes are checked.

7. After checking the boxes, you are free to close the window. It may be helpful to do these steps each day when starting work, to make sure everything is working correctly
