View/Edit a Deal Record

This article shows you how to view and edit deal records, plus tips for managing your deals.

 

View Deals as a List or in a Board

There are two icons in the upper left of the 'Deals' page that you can toggle between to change how you view your deals:

  • Click the left icon with horizontal lines to see your deals in list view, or click the the right grid icon to see your deals in board view.

Customize Deal Records

There are three main sections on a deal record:

  • Left sidebar: the left panel of your deal record includes deal information and general details such as Employee Lives, Deal stage, Competing Vendor, etc. 
  • Middle column: the middle panel of a deal record includes a timeline of activities, an overview of the record's associations and important properties, and includes custom tabs specifically set up for ClaimDOC.
  • Right sidebar: the right panel of a deal record includes previews of associated records and attachments.

Customize the Properties Shown in Deal Records

On the left side of your deal record, you can customize what deal properties you see. To do this: 

  1. Click 'Customize Properties'.
  2. A pop-up will appear on the right side. Click 'Add properties' to see a drop-down list of available properties.
  3. Add any additional deal properties to the left column of the record by marking the check-box next to the property. 
  4. Click 'Save' to save your changes. Please note that any changes you make will only show for you.

Key Points to Remember: 

  • You will only have access to deal records that you own.
